This is pre-release photos of the new Empire Magma! No specs on this bad boy as of yet, but there has been lots of speculation as toward it having a ridiculous speed capability reaching over 40bps feed rate! It also has some newer technolodgy under its drive cup, that I personally feel is a brushless out-runner motor. But like I said, there is no actual specs released for it yet. Here is a link to the Magma unloading some burst firing, at an impresive speed. youtube.com/watch?v=m4ZpwBbYTTsI'll update with info as I get it.

They should have put the battery up front it would have balanced better... That feed neck would snap alot quicker than the halos...

yes but with your feed tray in the middle I should not have to tilt the hopper back anymore

Its just not what your used to. I think this is the design of several future hoppers. It makes since with what Devil said.

Another cool find! Come to find out, the largest new design feature of the magma, is the magnetic clutch. Lucky for all the halo lovers out there, they sell this clutch as a drop-in upgrade for the halo line aswell. So if the magma doesnt do it for you, you can still have the performance feature that is a good thing no matter what. Not sure when they will be avalible, but I suspect within a few months anyhow.

I would hold off on this one and save my money fella's. This hopper was released at cup and the few pro guys shooting them had lots of prob's with them. Ive see one in person and not a fan of the clutch design too many things to go wrong there. The one thing I liked with the hopper was the insert it had that you could either leave in or take out of the hopper. left in it's slanted a little bit back toward the feed. Taken out it allows for an extra 25 balls or so to set in the front of the hopper which you have to tilit back to get them to the feed. And they robbed the transmitter feature from the pulse after taken them to cort for patent infringements. Just my 2 cents take it as you may peace Sam

Advice heeded Custom. I'll watch these more and see what others are saying. I figured they would have their issues sooner or later. Never can tell about a new product with an intirely new design.

I have watched a couple different vidz and read a few articles. I think that they are a good design and should work really well for speedball/woodsball. It will depend on the marker for woodsball. I wouldn't use it on my P90 because of the turning around that is needed for long hoppers like this, Eggs, or Jrny(sp).
