This is the SL8/9 ION mod.
It has 3 variations, and is a very accurate/stable platform for the woods baller who likes this sorta weapon.
Hope you all like it.
This what it should look like in your bedroom floor if your about to do a one-off mod! haha
This is the "SL8-4 varient" if you want to get technical about it!
The SL8-4 has a G36K vented carbine forgrip, and utilizes the carry handle optics from a G36K aswell
Here my Cousin took some photos with the setup before it was totally complete
This is the basic tear-down of things
My "better half" was good enough to pose with my SL8-4 for these two!
This is the same marker with a lengthened forgrip, and full length weaver rail, designating it as the SL8
Notice that I needed a longer barrel that the 16" I was using.
But it gives it a cool snub-nose look like this however.
This would be the SL9 varient, with the shorter, vented G36K forgrip.
However to authenticate this, it should have a silencer aswell
This one is the first functional vid I took... It was capped at 10bps because of the standard board on full auto.
Nothing very fancy about it, I was just happy to get it rolling at the time!
SL9 - Unloading first hopper Video
This one shows a friend of mine using it at Skirmish USA and the world record I.O.N event this year in PA.
Something like 4,300+ players there, but unfortunatly I couldnt make it, so I let him borrow it so I could say it has been to the largest PB game ever!
